Pigmentation

How can I fade my pigmentation spots in Nice?

How can I fade my pigmentation spots in Nice?

Sun spots, pregnancy mask, age spots on the face, décolleté or hands: pigmentation spots come from melanin produced in excess and unevenly distributed. To erase them durably, a single technology is generally not enough — they must be attacked with light AND gentle chemistry.

Our anti-spot protocol crosses IPL photorejuvenation, whose pulsed light is absorbed by melanin (the spot darkens for a few days then flakes away and lightens), depigmenting peels suited to your phototype, and LED photomodulation to regulate and soothe. On stubborn spots, nano-needling drives brightening actives deep down.

Two non-negotiable rules: the course is scheduled outside periods of strong sun (ideally October to April) and comes with strict sun protection — without it, the spots return. Mapping of your spots, phototype and calendar: everything is decided at the complimentary skin assessment (pay-per-session prices, see also the Anti-Spot Package).

How we proceed

  • The complimentary assessment. Spot mapping, identification of their origin (sun, hormones, age) and of your phototype.
  • The light attack. IPL on targeted spots: they darken, flake, and lighten over the sessions.
  • The surface work. Depigmenting peels as a course, to even out the complexion and prevent recurrence.
  • The protection. A strict sun routine and photographic monitoring — the key to a lasting result.

What we do not promise. No aesthetic protocol guarantees an identical result for everyone. From the assessment we tell you what is achievable, in how many sessions, and in which cases we prefer to refer you to a health professional.

Frequently asked questions

Why do my spots darken after IPL?

It is the sign the light has properly targeted the melanin: the spot darkens for 3 to 7 days, then flakes and lightens. That is the treatment's normal, expected course.

Can spots be treated in summer?

IPL sessions and active peels, no: the risk of pigment rebound is too high. We schedule the course from October to April and prepare your skin during summer.

Is pregnancy mask treated like sun spots?

No — melasma is hormonal and more prone to recurrence: it calls for gentler, more progressive protocols and rigorous maintenance. The assessment makes the distinction before any treatment.

How many sessions for an even complexion?

Generally 3 to 5 IPL sessions one month apart, interwoven with peels. The exact number depends on the extent and age of the spots — the assessment's quote specifies it.
