Rosacea and redness

What treatments are there for rosacea in Nice?

What treatments are there for rosacea in Nice?

Cheeks that flush at the slightest temperature change, visible vessels on the sides of the nose, diffuse redness settling in: couperose mostly affects thin, fair skin, and it does not regress on its own — it spreads. Treating it early is simpler and more durable.

Our protocol relies on IPL photorejuvenation: the pulsed light is absorbed by the haemoglobin of the small dilated vessels, which heat up and progressively resorb. In parallel, LED photomodulation soothes inflammation and strengthens the skin, while gentle treatments (OxyPure, facial ultrasound) restore the barrier of reactive skin.

Important: rosacea is a condition that belongs first to the dermatologist — our aesthetic treatments work as a complement, on redness and skin comfort, never instead of medical care. Your exact situation, the triggers to avoid and the calendar: everything is set at the complimentary skin assessment (pay-per-session prices).

How we proceed

  • The complimentary assessment. Mapping of redness and vessels, identification of your triggers, medical referral if necessary.
  • The targeted attack. IPL on dilated vessels and areas of redness, in 3 to 5 sessions one month apart.
  • The soothing. LED and barrier care to calm reactivity and strengthen the skin.
  • The maintenance. A routine adapted to reactive skin and a top-up session as needed.

What we do not promise. No aesthetic protocol guarantees an identical result for everyone. From the assessment we tell you what is achievable, in how many sessions, and in which cases we prefer to refer you to a health professional.

Frequently asked questions

Does IPL remove vessels permanently?

Treated vessels resorb durably, but couperose is a predisposition: new vessels can appear over time. An annual maintenance session is generally enough to keep the result.

Is the treatment painful on reactive skin?

Each flash causes a very brief warm sting. Intensity is adapted to your sensitivity, and the end-of-session LED soothes immediately.

What is the difference between couperose and rosacea?

Couperose refers to visible vessels and redness; rosacea is a broader condition (flares, papules) that belongs to the dermatologist. We treat the aesthetic side, alongside any medical care.

What should be avoided during the course?

Strong sun exposure, aggressive scrubs and your personal triggers (heat, alcohol, spices depending on the case). A simple guide is provided at the assessment.
