The Lifthera 2026 uses a multi-line HIFU technology designed for progressive facial firming. It is a more accessible alternative to the Genius protocol and can be proposed when the main goal is to work on the overall firmness and hold of the tissues.

HIFU Frozen: focused ultrasound paired with cold

HIFU Frozen pairs focused ultrasound with a cooling system to improve comfort during the session. It is particularly interesting for sensitive skin, for anyone apprehensive about a first session, or for those seeking a more comfortable experience.

HIFU V-Max: a technology dedicated to fine areas

The V-Max is used for areas requiring great precision, notably the eye contour, the eyelids and the lip contour. As these regions are particularly fine, they cannot be worked in the same way as the facial oval or the double chin.

Having a dedicated device makes it possible to adapt the intensity and the working area, instead of using a single handpiece across the whole face.

Which areas can facial HIFU treat?

Depending on the assessment carried out at the institute, focused ultrasound can be used on different areas:

HIFU and radiofrequency are two different technologies, both of which can be used in skin-firming protocols.

Focused ultrasound works in a highly targeted way at different depths, whereas radiofrequency rests on a controlled heating of the tissues.

In some cases one of the two techniques will be preferred; in others, they can be complementary. That is precisely the advantage of having several technologies in the same institute: we are not trying to sell you a device, but to choose the one that best matches your skin and your goal.

How many HIFU sessions are needed?

The number of sessions depends on the treated area, the initial state of the tissues and the desired goal. It therefore cannot be seriously determined without examining your skin.
