HIFU 9D: multi-depth focused ultrasound
HIFU 9D delivers high-intensity focused ultrasound at several working depths — from the superficial dermis to the SMAS — treating skin quality AND deep support within the same session. Its multiple cartridges allow the depth to be precisely adapted to each area of the face: cheeks, contour, forehead, neck, décolleté.
A typical session, and its place in our protocols
After the complimentary assessment and precise mapping of the areas, the session lasts 45 to 90 minutes depending on coverage. Possible temporary redness, no social downtime. Does HIFU hurt?
It depends on the treated area, on each person's sensitivity and on skin thickness. Not everyone reacts the same way, but the discomfort is generally felt between 3/10 and 5/10 on average.
Is HIFU recommended for everyone?
No, absolutely not! We offer different HIFU sessions in Nice with various protocols, settings and devices to match what suits you, and you alone! That is precisely why a prior consultation for a HIFU session is mandatory — and free.
What sets HIFU 9D apart from other HIFU devices?
The 9D works across more firing depths and covers large areas faster: face, neck, décolleté or body are treated within the same logic, with cartridges suited to each skin thickness. It is the versatile device of our HIFU protocols — the assessment determines whether it is the most suitable for your case, alone or combined with our other devices.
How long do HIFU 9D results last?
Stimulated collagen builds over 2 to 3 months and the tightening effect holds for 12 to 18 months on average, depending on age, skin and lifestyle. An annual maintenance session is then enough to restart production.
What does a HIFU 9D session in Nice look like?
After the complimentary assessment and the check for contraindications, the skin is cleansed and the handpiece delivers the firing lines area by area. Allow 30 to 90 minutes depending on coverage. You leave with no social downtime — slight redness may persist for a few hours.
